about Nepal
Nepal is the land of Everest, yak and yetis, monuments and stupas, vast culture and civilization, world class artistic and architecture, home for adventures sports and many more. Nepal lies in the southern Asia where it is situated between India and China. Being a landlocked country it is the second largest country for water resources in the world. Nepal contains the tallest mountain of the world Everest and other various mountain ranges.
Though being a small country, Nepal has lots of resources and things to share with the world. The Mount Everest and the other mountain ranges are well known to everyone. But most of the people may not know it is the second richest country for the water resources after Brazil. The Lord Gautama Buddha “the founder of Buddhism" was born in Nepal. There are lots of cultural heritages and monuments that are enlisted in world heritage list by UNESCO (United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organisation ).
Nepal is divided into three geographic regions so different types of flora and faunas are found in these different places. People from all over the world come to study the medicinal herbs and the different spices of animals and mostly birds. One- horned Rhinoceros and the Royal Bengal Tigers are the some of the animals which has drawn the people's attention from all over the world. Nepal is one of the countries with the majority of Hindu people but still there are other people from other various religions sharing and respecting each other's religion and participating in each other's festival. Overall, Unity in diversity is our specialty.
The newly formed parliament declared Nepal as Federal republican country in the world. The king is vacant from the throne and country elected the very first president in the history.
